Here at Gecko Surf School and Shop we have a wealth of knowledge about surfing and paddleboarding. From the weather conditions to the best beaches, hiring all the kit and everything the surfer/paddleboarder needs to buy to start these exciting watersports.
We pride ourselves on making sure that every bit of kit bought from us is tailored to the person. Everyone is at different standards and we make sure you go to the beach with all the right kit for you to enjoy your time on the water.

ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW & THE REST & THEN SOME
BEGINNER LESSONS
2 hours with everything included:
Just turn up 15 mins before the lesson to register and get fitted into a warm wetsuit, meet your instructor and the rest is all surf, surf, surf!!
Ages start from 8 upwards and must be able to go out their depth.
INTERMEDIATE LESSONS
2 hours with everything included:
Our instructors can take you to the next level after lots of practise with our hire boards or new board that we can provide you with from the experienced team at Gecko Surf Shop. Just give us a call to discuss your requirements and we can tailor the lesson to suit you.
We run two sessions daily, morning and afternoon, but just give us a call as we are quite flexible with the times. The groups can be up to 16 students per session where there will be a number of _instructors present throughout the lesson. We have a few lovely beaches where we carry out the lessons, Broad Beach or Rhosneigr Beach - according to tides and weather conditions - are within a few minutes walk for you to enjoy your surf/paddleboarding experience.
We provide everything you need apart from a towel and something to wear under your wetsuit - we do the rest!
Surf Lesson 1.5 hours £35 per person
Paddleboard Lesson 1.5 hours £40 per person
This is based on two or more students in a each group. If a private lesson is required price would be discussed upon contacting us to discuss what is needed in detail.
We also do Stag, Hen and Birthday parties along with corporate days which are great fun. We can make the day special with a bottle of fizz (after the session of course!) birthday cakes and more. Just ring us with your requirements and we will do our very best to make it special.
